Strawberry Latent Ringspot Virus
(SLRSV)

SLRSV causes latent infections in peach cultivars, but infects also strawberry, raspberry and different Prunus species. It is frequent in Southern Europe.

Characteristics of an infection are delayed bloom and retarded foliage. Shortened internodes give the shoot tips a rosetted shape. The strongest symptoms can be observed in spring, while later growth can be nearly normal. Damages are more serious, when SLRSV appears together with other viruses like PNRSV or PDV.
